Ozymandias

we are used to reading/watching things about ambition like in Macbeth and Gattaca. these two excerpts are showing the effected of ambition on the way to getting what they won’t. Ozymandias is showing what happens after you have reached your goals in life. we find a broken statue in the middle of the desert covered in the sand showing that as much as you try one day you will be forgotten and your legacy will cease to exist.
